About Rebirthing breathwork mastery

Alakh Analda, the founder of Rebirthing Breathwork Mastery (RBM) describes RBM as "breath training to live intentionality by using the full, conscious, connected breath within a self-paced process to clear subconscious material allowing you to become more clear and free physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. "

RBM is a style of breath that activates the parasympathetic part of our nervous system which allows you to step into your comfort zone and have many different types of experiences from releasing, anchoring, inspiring, relaxing, integrative, etc.

Your experience may be subtle where you feel like nothing is happening or you may experience mild to intense body sensations, you may have memories arise, mental chatter or feelings come to the surface to be felt. All experiences are validated. The emphasis for each session is to go integrated step by integrated step always moving you closer to your intention.

Understanding with your mind can be a really important step but we need tools that help us get clear on what we really want and tools that help us rewire old beliefs, thoughts and patterns. 

We are meant to be creators. You can consciously create using your breath. 

To do this you may have to release stored pain, rewire patterns, validate what is authentically true for you, anchor in new energy, and allow yourself to be supported. 

Breathwork can help you feel empowered to be your authentic self in a supported space by a facilitator who will fully validate your experience and ask questions to help you get in touch with what is true for you.

Each 2.5 hour session begins with intention setting where you speak into what is true for you and how your would prefer for things to be going, followed by a 90 min breath session that uses a full, conscious connected breath to either clear what's in the way of your intention or to anchor in a new way of being, ending with a debrief about what happened in your session and how it relates to your intention.

What Do I need to bring to An Online session?

You will want to make sure you have a space to lay down - a bed, couch or mat are often the most comfortable to lay down for the 90 minute breath practice. You will want to dress comfortably and have an extra blanket nearby. You can also bring some water and a journal & pen. 

Do I need Prior Breathwork Experience?

You don't need any prior experience! The full practice will be explained and there will be plenty of time for questions. This practice is perfect for first timers and experienced breathworkers. 

I've tried a Dynamic style of breathwork. Is this the same?

The style of breath is gentle. You will be breathing in and out through your nose without putting any pressure or force on the breath. There are many styles of breathwork that are great; this specific style is designed to activate your parasympathetic system so you can connect deeply while feeling safe and supported. 

Where are the In Person Sessions Offered?

In person session can be at your home or at the Minot Mist Center in Scituate, MA. 

Can Bring my Partner or a Friend to the Session?

Absolutely! Breathwork can be an amazing way to connect more deeply with a partner or friend, beyond day to day conversation. It can help you align with the future you want to create together.

I first heard about breathwork on a podcast in late 2019. I immediately googled the person on the podcast, Erin Telford and quickly signed up for a group session. I was immediately hooked. 2020 was an incredibly stressful year and I really leaned into breathwork. After a few sessions, I had a moment where I thought, this is what I am meant to do with the rest of my life. But my overthinking brain at the time quickly took over to convince me that wasn't possible.

I continued to practice breathwork, first becoming a trained facilitator in a dynamic style of breathwork before discovering Rebirthing Breathwork Mastery in early 2022. 2 huge things happened- one was it suddenly felt possible that I could be a person who had grounded, nourishing daily practices after a lifetime of hating routine and it felt possible that I could leave my corporate  job that I had felt complete with for quite a long time.  

I began studying at the School of Breathwork with Eleanor Mann and her team in July 2023 and being as to support people as they discover and practice RBM has been a dream come true. My love of breathwork is a core part of my life and the impact it has had on my life is profound. I could not be more excited to share the practice with you.
